Super Sweeper saturday: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, MAY 4
The Anchorage Chamber's Super Sweeper program helps teach school-aged kids the value of a clean city and community service.
This program kicks off the Anchorage Chamber's Citywide Cleanup Week (Saturday, May 4) and motivates the rest of Anchorage to participate in Cleanup Week. Starting at 10 a.m., parents assist their kids in picking up trash around their schools and neighborhoods, returning the full bags of trash to the school before 2 p.m.
Each student from each school who collected trash was eligible to receive an iPod Shuffle™.
Orange bags on this day were issued from the student's school office.
